It's Been A Long, Long, Time

For those of you who know me, you know I love music. Lot's of different kinds of music; so I couldn't resist using a few words from an old song as the title of this post. And it honestly describes the distance since the last post. :-)

Anyway, although I am no longer a Brite Music Rep., I can still honestly, wholeheartedly and forever recommend the use of Brite music for families and children! It helps them in so many ways and it brings joy and peace to the listener. If you are interested, just go to: www.britemusic.com to listen to clips of music and to order.

So...what shall I use this blog for now? I think it would be fun to use it just to stay in touch with family and friends. I'll just have to learn how to post photos! I think you'll particularly appreciate the photos I took many weeks ago of the hash brown potatoes that I had just put in the frying pan. Well, as it turns out, I had poured grated mozzarella cheese into the frying pan. The lesson learned? Label your frozen food!!! Nobody's memory is THAT good!!! :-)

I need to sign off soon, but until next time, please know that we are grateful for our family members and friends. We think of you often and feel very blessed in sooooo many ways.

Wishing you a beautiful day!

  2. well, I wish I would have asked my Mom sooner what those books were that I used to listen to as a kid! I have three young children and have been thinking about a song running through my head and remembered a bird talking to a boy... I couldn't figure out what those books were called and finally called my Mom and asked her what they were. "Oh you mean Brite books!" she said. I used to sit on a chair in the living room and put on these huge head phones and listen to the stories and songs for hours!! I loved them all!!! So I began to do a search. Its been two weeks now and as I said before, we are a young military family living now in Omaha Nebraska rather far away from our roots in Boise Idaho. I was sad to read that they only will sell the Standing Tall series (and the rest) until supplies run out. I am trying to get money together in time, but fear I will fall short and miss out which will be devistating! Do you have any ideas what that really means? And do you know of anyone that used to sell this product that may have a Standing Tall set (or any other set) they are wanting to unload? I also wanted to thank you for the information you provided in your blog about the LDS portion! I can't wait to look that up after I post this comment! If you do have any ideas, suggestions, or know of anyone wanting to sell, please let me know. My email address is loralee.amandus@gmail.com I also have a blog at mikeloralee.blogspot.com if you wanted to post something there instead. Any information would be so WELCOME. I have a 7,5, and 3 year old! Thank you for your time!! --Loralee
